Actively in development
What it is
OpenLab is a collection of workflows, templates, prompts, and research-operations resources designed to help researchers adopt modern software-engineering and knowledge-management practices.
The goal is to reduce friction in academic research by making reproducible, adaptable research infrastructure freely available, so labs spend less time fighting their process and more time on the science.
Why it exists
Research moves slowly not only because the science is hard, but because the process around it is fragmented. Data lives in scattered spreadsheets, analyses can't be reproduced, protocols drift, and knowledge leaves when people do. Each of those gaps is an upstream failure, and downstream it shows up as evidence that reaches patients late, or not at all. OpenLab is an attempt to make good practice the easy path.
